Low Rider - Recumbent Electric Scooter

Lowrider Recumbent Electric Scooter article - text below

Jim Black brought a Recumbent Electric Scooter. He took a Currie scooter and simply added a pair of longitudinal bars of square aluminum tubing and a 3rd piece as foot pegs. A trolling seat completed the package.

The red rods pointing forward over the backrest are made from dylithium crystals, and insert into sockets in Jim's back. They drain the life force from his body and convert it to electricity. Range, on paper, is 12 miles. Considerably less in the real world. Plenty of room under or behind the seat for exra batteries though.

I rode it, and it's a blast. Weight distribution, which is critical on an ultra short machine, seemed just right. IMHO it's only a change of bars and stem from being a great handling machine.
